Originally built in 1855 the charming Ol’Duke hotel, is located in the seaside town of Portarlington on the Bellarine Peninsula. Portarlington is situated 103 km south of Melbourne by road or a small 25 km south by sea, on the northern most tip of the Bellarine Peninsula.  

The ol’Duke is in Newcombe street, Portarlington’s main street, opposite parklands and looking down to Portarlington Harbor and across Port Philip Bay to Melbourne.

The ol' Duke features six cosy, modern rooms with comfortable Queen size beds and most of the comforts of home. For the family or larger group, The ol' Duke offers two fully contained stable rooms - one sleeps 4 and the other 6.

The stables are like a home away from home. These fully serviced apartments are self contained with the following bedding configuration. The large apartment sleeps up to six guests and consists of a queen bed on a mezzanine level, two single beds and a fold out sofa bed for two. The small apartment sleeps up to four people and consists of a queen bed upstairs on a mezzanine level and two singles downstairs (bunks). Both apartments have an open plan with kitchenette, split system air conditioner and separate bathroom facilities. The larger stable has a wheelchair friendly bathroom.

Our six upstairs rooms have queen beds and are suitable for couples or singles. The upstairs rooms are an open plan with ensuite, mini bar, television and ceiling fans. Three of these rooms over look the bay.

Bed & Breakfast package – for guests staying in our upstairs rooms, we offer a full al a carte breakfast in the restaurant (from Thursday – Monday) - $185 per couple

Eat, Drink, Sleep Package – indulge in our great cuisine whilst staying at The ol’Duke. This package includes accommodation in an upstairs room, a glass of bubbles on arrival, a three course dinner in the restaurant and breakfast the following morning - $290 per couple
